When I tell people I work in AI, I usually get one of two reactions. Either: "That's the future, but it doesn't concern us yet." Or: "That's too complicated and expensive."
Both are wrong. AI isn't the future — it's here now. And it doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. Here are 5 things AI can solve in your company this week.
1 Answering repetitive e-mails
Look at your inbox. I bet you'll find a dozen e-mails you keep answering over and over. "What's the price?" "When are you available?" "How does it work?"
AI can read these e-mails, figure out what they're about and write a reply — in exactly your style, with your information. You just review it and hit send. Or send it as-is.
2 Summarising long documents and meetings
Got a 40-page contract and need to know if there's anything suspicious in it? Have a recording of a two-hour meeting and need the 5 key points?
AI does it in a minute. Upload the document or meeting transcript, write "summarise the main points and flag any risks" — and you get a clear summary. A lawyer would bill you hours for the same thing.
3 Creating marketing content
LinkedIn posts, product descriptions, website copy — content creation eats an enormous amount of time. And most small businesses either don't do it at all, or do it once a quarter.
AI won't write a genius campaign for you. But it can produce a solid draft that you then polish. Instead of an hour of writing, you spend 10 minutes editing. That's a real saving.
- Product description: tell the AI what you sell and to whom — it writes the copy
- Social media post: give the AI an interesting fact from your field — it turns it into a post
- Review responses: the AI drafts a polite reply to every piece of feedback
4 Customer support outside business hours
Customers don't only buy between 9 and 5. They write on Sunday evenings, they write at midnight. And when they don't get an answer, they go to your competitor.
An AI chatbot can answer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It knows your products, prices and delivery terms. Harder questions get forwarded to you by e-mail. The customer gets an instant answer — you read the report over your morning coffee. That's exactly the kind of solution I build as custom AI agents.
5 Processing and sorting data
Got an Excel file full of contacts, orders or customers? Need to sort them, find duplicates, add a category or export just a subset?
AI does this faster than manual work and with less risk of typos. Just upload the file and describe in plain language what you want done. No complex formulas, no macros.
Where to start?
Don't pick the biggest problem right away. Start with the smallest — one where losing costs you nothing, but winning would make your day. Try AI on one e-mail, one document, one product description.
And if you're curious what AI tailored directly to your business would look like — not a generic tool, but a solution connected to your systems, your data, your way of communicating — I'd be happy to talk. The first 30 minutes are free.
